How to Correctly Perform a Control Solution Test
Review your owner’s manual’s instructions to ensure you conduct the control solution test correctly.
- Control solution tests should be performed at room temperature (68° – 77° F).
- Before testing, make sure to shake the control solution vial thoroughly.
- Discard the initial drop of the control solution and clean the dispenser tip.
- Place a drop of control solution onto the narrow channel at the top edge of the OneTouch Ultra test strip.
